"I am putting together a lightweight text editor for macOS and need the core keyboard shortcuts wired up so the app feels instantly familiar to users. The first milestone is to make the following combinations behave exactly like they do in native Mac apps:

• Ctrl + S → Save file
• Ctrl + C → Copy
• Ctrl + X → Cut
• Ctrl + V → Paste
• Ctrl + Z → Undo
• Ctrl + Y → Redo
• Ctrl + F → Find
• Ctrl + H → Replace
• Ctrl + A → Select all
• Ctrl + Shift + L → Add or remove filter
• Alt + = → Auto sum
• Ctrl + Arrow keys → Jump to last filled cell
• Ctrl + Space → Select column
• Shift + Space → Select row

Acceptance criteria
• The shortcuts trigger instantly and do not conflict with system-wide commands.
• Undo and Redo respect multi-step history.
• Clipboard actions work with rich text and plain text.
• All code compiles and runs on the latest macOS without warnings.
• A concise README explains build steps and where to add future shortcuts or features.

I will be adding more functionality after this phase, so clean, modular architecture is vital. Swift with AppKit or SwiftUI is fine as long as you stick to native macOS conventions.
