Project description:
"A single-user, desktop-friendly point-of-sale system is needed for my small pharmacy. The application must allow me to process sales, keep real-time stock levels, and flag medications by expiry date so I can act before they go out of date. At the end of each shift I want to print or export clear daily figures, and I also need the same breakdown automatically available for weekly, monthly, and yearly periods.

Only one operator will use the system, so no role-based security layers are necessary. As long as it runs smoothly on a standard Windows desktop (native app or browser-based), I am flexible on the underlying stack—popular choices like Java, .NET, PHP/Laravel, or Electron are all acceptable if they meet the requirements and are easy to maintain.
