Project description:
"I’m building a lightweight Android utility whose single focus is fast, reliable file sharing. Think of it as a stripped-down file manager with one big button: “Share”.

What I need right now
• A native Kotlin project in Android Studio (minimum SDK 24, targeting the latest).
• Browsing internal and external storage, selecting single or multiple files or folders.
• Sharing through the standard Android share sheet plus direct Wi-Fi Direct or Bluetooth if available.
• A clean Material 3 UI, progress indicator while sending, and a small transfer history screen.
• Proper handling of runtime permissions so the app never crashes on Android 8 through 14.

Deliverables
1. Release-signed APK.
2. Fully commented source code and Gradle files.
3. Short README with build/run instructions.

Acceptance criteria
– App installs and starts without errors.
– I can pick any file(s) and send them in one action.
– Transfer progress and completion are clearly shown.

Future iterations may add organisation or backup features, but those are out of scope for this first milestone. I’d like an initial working build within a week so we can test on real devices and iterate quickly afterward." (client-provided description)
