"Development of "Ægir DiveOS Professional Diver’s Logbook" – Digital App & Software

Description:
We are seeking skilled developers to build a digital version of the professional diver’s logbook, replacing the traditional paperback. The app must be available for Android, iOS, and Windows/Mac/Linux (exe). This is part of our larger Ægir DiveOS ecosystem, but the logbook will also function as a standalone product.

We already have:

Ægir Core (Python backend) with a partially working STT/TTS system (can be shared).

Mistral via Ollama configured as offline redundancy to OpenAI.

Scans/photos of the existing logbook (all required fields).

Norwegian Diving & Treatment Tables (official edition) in PDF for reference/integration.

Core Features (MVP – must be delivered):

All paperback content digitalized into structured digital fields (Personal details, medical certificates, qualifications, training records, dive logs, cumulative experience, etc.).

Personal profile: Upload of diver’s photo stored in profile and shown with logbook entries. Other details (name, DOB, passport no., next of kin, contact info, etc.) are filled out via keyboard (no handwriting input required).

Digital signing of dives – like SmartDok SJA. On touchscreen (tablet/phone) with finger/stylus, on PC with mouse pointer.

Save/validation function: Simple “Save dive” button. Must validate that critical fields are filled out before saving.

Screenshot-to-logbook (OCR/AI): User can take a photo of a diving journal (paper or digital). OpenAI/Mistral extracts the data and auto-fills into the correct logbook fields. Must allow manual editing after AI-fill.

Cloud storage & sync: Support OneDrive, Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.

Export & send: Single-click export of logbook or selected dives to PDF or Excel, with option to send via email directly.

Company branding: Upload of company logo, automatically stamped onto dives together with supervisor signature.

Login & Security:

First login requires 2FA (email/SMS/Authenticator/Vipps/BankID if possible).

Subsequent logins can use a simple 4-digit PIN code.

Dive Tables Integration: Norwegian Diving & Treatment Tables integrated for lookup/autofill support (not live advice – only post-dive log assistance in v1).

Additional Notes

This logbook is not live dive support, only a CV-style record of completed dives.

Integration into Ægir DiveOS Core as a module (we will provide access).

HiveSync/Guardian AI training not required in v1, but architecture should be future-proof for learning/AI training.

Strong offline capability required (many divers operate with poor or no network).

Pricing & Licensing Model (for future release, dev should support this):

Free version: Max 5 dive logs/month, local storage only.

Pro version: Unlimited logs, cloud backup, PDF/Excel export, email. Subscription: ~149 NOK/month.

Company version (2–50 users): Same as Pro + webhooks, API integration, SOO priority support. ~99 NOK/user.

Deliverables

Android & iOS apps (App Store & Google Play ready).

Windows/Mac/Linux desktop app (exe/pkg/deb installers).

Full source code, documentation, and handover.

Integration of provided Ægir Core backend where relevant.



All intellectual property (IP) rights, source code, designs, and documentation produced during this project remain the sole property of the client (Ægir Group).

Work will be conducted strictly on a work-for-hire basis.

NDA and IP assignment agreement must be signed before project start.

A video call interview will be required before awarding the contract.

A fixed-price contract will be issued once scope and deliverables are agreed.

Final payment will be released only upon full delivery, successful testing, and client approval." (client-provided description)
