"I need a clean, modal popup added to my WordPress site that invites visitors to leave their email in exchange for a free toolkit. Once they hit “submit,” the system should:

• push the address into a free-or-low-cost email marketing platform (Mailchimp, Sendinblue or any other option with a generous free tier),
• trigger an automated email that delivers the toolkit (attachment or download link), and
• store the contact in my site’s subscriber database for future campaigns.

After the popup is live and tested, I also want a real-time social-proof message such as “Someone purchased this product 3 hours ago” rotating on product pages. You’re welcome to use a lightweight FOMO / sales-notification plugin as long as it looks native to my theme and doesn’t slow the site.

Acceptance criteria
1. Modal popup matches existing branding and fires on the pages I specify.
2. Email capture flows smoothly into the chosen service and the toolkit email lands in the inbox, not spam.
3. Subscriber data appears in both WordPress and the email platform’s list.
4. Social-proof notifications display recent purchase activity automatically and can be edited easily.
5. Clear hand-off notes so I can tweak copy, images, and timing without coding.
