"Job Brief: AI App Developer (Contract – 1 to 2 months)

About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on App Developer (web or mobile) with strong experience in integrating AI APIs to help us build an early-stage learning product. The goal is to develop a working MVP that connects speech-to-text, AI chat, and text-to-speech into a simple user-facing app.

Responsibilities

Set up a basic app (web or mobile) with clean user flow:

User speaks or types → message goes to AI → AI responds with text + audio.

Integrate third-party AI APIs:

OpenAI (for chat/corrections)

ElevenLabs or similar (for realistic text-to-speech)

Speech-to-Text engine (Google Cloud STT, Whisper API, or Deepgram)

Build a lightweight backend (e.g., Xano, Supabase, Firebase, or Node.js) for:

User authentication & session tracking

Saving conversation logs (user message, AI response, feedback)

Simple dashboard or admin panel for monitoring usage

Deploy app on web (React/[login to view URL], WeWeb, or similar) or cross-platform framework (Flutter/React Native).

Set up APIs so the app can later connect to WhatsApp reminders/notifications.

Document the setup so that a non-technical founder can maintain and extend it.

Requirements

Experience with AI API integrations (OpenAI, ElevenLabs, STT engines).

Strong in REST APIs and backend setup (Supabase, Firebase, Node.js, or Xano).

Comfortable with frontend frameworks (React, [login to view URL], Flutter, or no-code connectors like WeWeb).

Ability to build and test quickly, explain code clearly, and provide documentation.

Bonus: Experience with multilingual apps (Bangla, Hindi, Urdu, Tagalog) is a plus.

Contract Details

Duration: 1–2 months (short-term contract, possibility of extension).

Deliverable: A working MVP app that allows users to practice English via voice + AI feedback.

Payment: Monthly contract fee (negotiable).
