"My existing app still targets iOS 12 or earlier, and it now needs to compile cleanly, run smoothly, and pass App Store review on the latest public iOS release. The core project is already live, so this is strictly an update and refactor job—no new features, just compatibility and performance improvements.

You will pull the current Xcode project (Objective-C, a bit of Swift 4) and:

• Resolve any deprecated APIs, entitlements or build-setting warnings that appear when switching the deployment target from “iOS 12 or below” to the newest version.
• Retest every screen on current iPhone and iPad simulators and at least one real device.
• Generate an archive that uploads without issues to App Store Connect, along with a concise change log noting each code or setting modification.

Acceptance criteria
– Build succeeds in Xcode’s latest stable release.
– App runs without crashes on iOS 17 (or whichever is current at hand-off).
– All pre-existing functionality behaves exactly as before.
– You supply updated source plus a brief “how to reproduce” test sheet.

If you have recent experience bridging Objective-C to Swift 5, handling ATS and permission-dialog changes, and passing App Store review after deprecation sweeps, you’ll be up and running quickly.
