Project description:
"I am developing a set of quantitative learning tasks and need help choosing the most appropriate response scale and building the accompanying interactive exercises. The subject matter itself is outside the usual Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics tracks, so I want a fresh, well-reasoned approach rather than a cookie-cutter template.
Here is what I’m after:
• Analyse the learning objective and recommend the exact scale that best captures meaningful learner input (e.g., Likert-style, semantic differential, ratio, or a hybrid).
• Design and code an interactive exercise that uses the chosen scale, complete with real-time validation and basic analytics hooks.
• Keep the code portable—vanilla JavaScript/HTML5 or any lightweight framework is fine—as it will embed inside a custom platform that is neither a standard LMS, website, nor mobile app.
• Provide clear integration notes so I can drop the exercise straight into my environment without refactoring.
Acceptance criteria
– Rationale document justifying the scale selection.
– Exercise loads without console errors in modern browsers and records responses accurately.
– Mark-up and interactions meet WCAG AA basics (keyboard navigation, ARIA where needed).
If you have experience pairing measurement theory with hands-on front-end work, I’d love to see how you would tackle this." (client-provided description)
