"We have a simple note-taking mobile application built with React Native. The app is designed to store notes locally using AsyncStorage so users can access their data even when offline.

Currently, the app works fine when the device is online — notes can be added and retrieved without issues. However, when the device is offline, previously saved notes are not displayed. This indicates a bug in how the app handles local caching and retrieval of stored notes.

We are looking for a React Native developer to:

Investigate the bug — identify why AsyncStorage data is not being loaded correctly when offline.

Fix the caching logic — ensure that notes are always saved locally and properly retrieved, regardless of network status.

Implement fallback handling — when offline, the app should load from AsyncStorage instead of trying to fetch from the API (and avoid overwriting local notes with empty data).
