1. Project Overview & Scope
This project aims to comprehensively enhance my WooCommerce website, focusing on improving the user experience (UX), user interface (UI), and technical performance. The primary goals are to streamline the checkout process, optimize site speed and mobile responsiveness, improve product discovery, and automate marketing communications.
The project is structured into three main phases, with distinct deliverables for each.
2. Phase 1: UX/UI & E-commerce Conversion Optimization
This phase is dedicated to improving the core user journey, from product discovery to a seamless checkout.
2.1 Checkout System Enhancement (Stripe Integration)
The objective is to refine the existing Stripe integration to create a more efficient and user-friendly checkout process.
Change my Woo-commerce check out to Implement Stripe Express Checkout: Configure and integrate the Express Checkout Element for both guest and existing users, providing a fast-path checkout option.
User Interface (UI) Refinement: Ensure all UI icons and elements are clear and visible throughout the checkout flow.
Address Details verification to ensure user can enter their shipping address
Custom Shipping Integration: Develop a custom pop-up display that explains shipping costs and their components. This will include integrating shipping amounts from the cart with a detailed, user-friendly explanation.
Stripe Elements Integration:
Integrate the Stripe Currency Selector to allow users to easily switch between currencies.
Utilize Stripe Payment Method Messaging to proactively inform users about accepted payment methods, building trust and transparency.
2.2 On-site User Experience & Navigation
The focus here is on improving overall site navigation and interactions to sell products faster and create a more professional, world-class UX.
Homepage & Pop-up Optimization: Revamp the cookie consent pop-up and welcome message pop-up for a less intrusive and more engaging user experience.
Trigger a well designed email upon registering to the mailing list along with a coupon code to use.
Navigation & Call-to-Action (CTA) Redesign: Analyze and improve the main navigation structure and placement/design of key CTAs to enhance product discoverability and conversion rates.
Front-End UX Improvements: Implement best-practice front-end UX solutions to reduce friction in the buying process, such as clear product filtering, enhanced product page layouts, and a streamlined add-to-cart experience.
3. Phase 2: Technical Performance & Content Management
This phase addresses the technical foundation of the site, ensuring it is fast, well-organized, and ready for future growth.
3.1 Performance Optimization (Core Web Vitals)
The goal is to significantly improve site speed and loading times to enhance user experience and search engine ranking.
PageSpeed & Core Web Vitals: Analyze and optimize the website to achieve a Google PageSpeed score of 85 or higher on both web and mobile, focusing on metrics from the provided PageSpeed Insights report.
3.2 WordPress Content & Product Management
This involves a detailed content update to ensure product data is accurate, well-structured, and easily discoverable.
Product Data Migration (Web Scraping): Add approximately 180 new products by scraping content (descriptions, images) from specified branded sites.
Task A: Add 4 new brands (approx. 1 product + 15 + 50).
Task B: Updating the section of an existing brand via scrapping
Product Re-classification & Tagging: Update and re-classify 150-250 product tags to improve search functionality and filter accuracy.
Product & Shipping Configuration:
Update product variants with accurate weight (in grams) for 20 variants.
Configure shipping rules to limit specific brands to multiple locations as per business requirements.
UI Imagery Integration: Ensure all newly added product images are seamlessly integrated into the website's existing UI to maintain brand consistency.
4. Phase 3: Digital Marketing & Data Automation
This phase focuses on setting up automated marketing flows and data management to nurture leads and retain customers.
4.1 Email Automation & Nurturing (Klaviyo)
The objective is to create and optimize automated email flows to improve customer engagement and reduce cart abandonment.
Template Creation: Design professional, on-brand email templates for all flows.
Flow Configuration & Optimization:
Welcome Series: Set up a professional, multi-email welcome series for new subscribers.
Abandoned Cart: Reconfigure the existing abandoned cart flow to be more professional and effective.
NPS Email: Create a triggered email flow for a Net Promoter Score (NPS) survey, sent after an order is delivered.
Data Collection: Set up data collection from web forms and explore options for Instagram data integration.
Data Segmentation: Create new, distinct segments within Klaviyo for:
Customers who have purchased from the WordPress site.
Newsletter subscribers.
Cart abandonment users.
Users who have viewed specific pages.
4.2 Search Engine Optimization (SEO) & Indexing

Google Search Console Audit: Verify that all relevant pages are properly indexed and crawlable within Google Search Console.
AI Search Engine Indexing: Explore and implement strategies to ensure the website and its products are properly indexed by natural and organic AI search engines, increasing visibility for relevant queries.
