"My Android app needs a quick but thorough clean-up. A recent build introduced UI layout problems—buttons and text overlap because margins disappear on certain screen sizes—so the visual flow is off. At the same time, a couple of core features no longer do what they should; the share action and in-app search ignore user input after the latest SDK update.

You’ll dive into the codebase (Kotlin, AndroidX, Android Studio Flamingo), isolate the causes, and return a smooth, reliable experience. I’ll provide a Git repo and a set of reproducible steps as soon as we start; please keep your commits focused and well commented so I can merge them straight into main.

Deliverables:
• Corrected layouts that display consistently across common screen sizes and orientations
• Fully functional share and search features, tested on API 23–34
• A concise changelog noting every file touched and the fix applied
• A signed APK or AAB for final acceptance testing
