Project description:
"This project is to build a self-contained HTML/JavaScript site that I can run entirely offline during an upcoming trade show. It will sit on a Windows laptop connected to a large screen over HDMI, but I’d like it to respond just as well to a touchscreen or mouse input. Once the folder is dropped onto a USB stick the whole experience—videos, images, text, fonts, and code—must launch from [login to view URL] with no internet calls at all.
Core user flow
• Splash screen with eye-catching, on-brand animations (colour shifts, pulsing or gently floating buttons).
• Language selection: English, Spanish, Arabic (with the ability for me to add more later).
• Service selection: Property Management, Construction, Real Estate.
• Service detail page: an embedded looping or click-to-play video plus a short HTML text block pulled from a local JSON or similar so I can replace copy without touching the layout.
Design & UX
The interface has to look clean and modern, following our corporate colours and fonts. Buttons should be generously sized and well-spaced so a visitor can tap them quickly; no hover states are required. A responsive layout that also looks good on an iPad or Android tablet would be a bonus.
Tech & hand-off
Vanilla JS, React, or a lightweight framework is fine—as long as it remains portable and easy for me to update. Please separate content (JSON / media folders) from structure and styling so swapping a video or adding a fourth service takes minutes, not hours. Commented code and a short “how-to-update” README are part of the delivery.
What I need from you
• A working offline build packaged in a single folder.
• Source files (HTML, JS, CSS, any project files).
• Instructions for future content edits.
• Your portfolio links to similar interactive HTML/JS kiosks or microsites.
• An estimate of cost and turnaround time.
The finished piece will be tested on Windows 11, Chrome in kiosk mode, and a 1080p external display; please keep those constraints in mind while developing." (client-provided description)
