"I want to launch a full-service ride-hailing solution for British Columbia that feels as seamless as Uber or Careem while reflecting local regulations and geography. The build has to ship native experiences on both iOS and Android from day one, sharing a single real-time backend so rider, driver and dispatcher data stay perfectly in sync.

Core flow and must-haves
• Real-time GPS tracking so passengers can watch their driver approach and drivers can navigate turn-by-turn.
• Secure in-app payments (credit card plus Apple Pay / Google Pay) with fare estimates, receipts and payout logic for drivers.
• Two-way driver-and-rider ratings with written reviews to keep quality high.

Scheduling rides is still an open question; I’m happy to hear technical or UX suggestions on how best to introduce advance bookings once the on-demand flow is solid.

Behind the scenes I’ll need an admin console for onboarding drivers, setting surge multipliers, viewing live fleet telemetry and exporting earnings reports. The platform must be ready for App Store and Google Play submission, so production-grade code, unit tests and clear deployment documentation are essential.

Acceptance criteria
• Live location updates refresh at ≤3 seconds latency across all device pairs inside BC test area.
• Payment flow passes end-to-end test transactions in sandbox and production.
• Ratings & reviews persist and surface correctly in rider and driver histories.
• Apple and Google review approval achieved using provided brand assets and test accounts.

Once the above is met and regression-tested, we’ll roll into a pilot with local drivers and iterate from real-world feedback." (client-provided description)
