Overview:

This is the official feature specification for the Client App of the 3D Shopping AI project.
The app will allow users to enter a virtual 3D city (already designed in Blender), interact socially, shop, communicate, and manage their orders — all using a mixed system of AR, 3D models, and real-time features.
• The virtual city is already modeled using Blender.
• The city will be integrated with Unreal Engine for navigation, interactions, and avatar control.
• Once integrated, Unreal Engine will be connected to the client mobile app via Unity/Flutter bridges and APIs.


Client App Functional Requirements (Mobile - Flutter)

1. Authentication

1.1. Login with email/password
1.2. Signup (new account)
1.3. Forgot password (email recovery)
1.4. Social login (optional phase 2)



2. Location System

2.1. On first app launch, request GPS permission
2.2. Detect and save the user’s live location
2.3. Use coordinates to auto-connect to nearest mall/store zone in the 3D city
2.4. Store current location to allow proximity-based services



3. Group Shopping Feature

3.1. Users can create a shopping group (family/friends)
3.2. Send invites to others (via app, SMS, or link)
3.3. When a friend accepts the invite:
• Their location auto-syncs to match the inviter’s
• All members are placed in the same virtual mall together
3.4. Each user has a separate cart & separate payment flow



4. Shopping Cart + Checkout

4.1. Users can explore the mall and add 3D products to their cart
4.2. Cart supports:
• Add/remove products
• Adjust quantities
• Save for later
4.3. Payment options:
• Pay for own cart
• Use “Pay for Me” feature (see below)
• Pay in full, app auto-distributes payments to involved stores



5. “Pay for Me” Option

5.1. User can click “Request someone to pay for me”
5.2. Send notification to selected contact (e.g. parent, sibling)
5.3. The other user receives:
• Product list
• Total amount
• Accept & Pay button
5.4. Once paid, the app updates all involved stores automatically



6. Voice + Text Chat

6.1. Live in-app chat between group members
6.2. Options:
• Text messages
• Voice messages
• Emojis & reactions
6.3. Notification system for missed messages



7. Delivery or Pickup

7.1. After payment, user chooses delivery method per product:
• Option 1: Pickup from physical store
• Option 2: Home delivery via delivery agent
7.2. Track order status (dispatched, delivered, ready for pickup)



8. Virtual City Integration (3D Experience)

This is a foundational part of the app.

8.1. The virtual city has been designed in Blender
8.2. City is currently being integrated into Unreal Engine
8.3. Unreal Engine will be:
• Hosting mall & store environments
• Supporting avatar movement
• Displaying 3D shelves & interactive products
8.4. Client App will be connected to UE through API or Unity bridge

Flutter Developer – Virtual Merchant Store Management (3D Shopping AI)



Overview:

We are developing a cutting-edge 3D shopping experience where merchants manage virtual stores, upload their products using AR (Augmented Reality), and interact with customers through a smart system.
We are seeking a skilled Flutter Developer to build the Merchant App interface and integrate it with APIs, AR modules, and backend systems.



Responsibilities (Fully Detailed and Numbered):



1. Authentication (Login & Registration)
• 1.1 Design login screen (email or phone + password).
• 1.2 Design registration form for new merchants.
• 1.3 Collect required documents:
• Commercial registration number & document (image).
• Tax number (if available).
• Shop identity document or storefront photo.
• Personal photo (optional).
• 1.4 Validate all fields and submit to backend.
• 1.5 Implement secure API calls for registration/login.



2. Merchant Store Setup
• 2.1 Enter official store name.
• 2.2 Select the virtual city where the store is located.
• 2.3 Enter number of store branches owned in the city.
• 2.4 Add external map links to physical stores (from Google Maps, Apple Maps, etc.) – for example, 9 H&M branches in NYC.



3. Access Virtual City and Store
• 3.1 Display cities where the merchant has stores.
• 3.2 Allow access to the selected store in a 3D city environment.



4. Virtual Storefront with Shelves
• 4.1 Display store in a 3D-like view (provided via Unity integration).
• 4.2 Show shelves inside the store, each with a unique number.
• 4.3 Display products placed on each shelf (image + title + price).



5. Product Capture via AR

Note: AR functionality will be implemented by a dedicated AR developer. The Flutter developer is only responsible for UI integration and API communication.

• 5.1 Add a button labeled “Capture New Product” using device camera.
• 5.2 Launch the AR camera interface (handed off to the AR developer).
• 5.3 Receive and display the auto-cropped product image (via AR or external AI API).
• 5.4 Allow merchant to assign the product to a shelf.
• 5.5 Save product data to backend (name, image, shelf ID, etc.).
• 5.6 Provide a fallback option to upload a product image manually.



6. Add Product via AI
• 6.1 Generate product name automatically using AI (e.g. GPT).
• 6.2 Generate product description via AI.
• 6.3 Suggest a suitable price based on market and category.
• 6.4 Mark product as returnable or not.
• 6.5 Input a custom return policy.



7. Merchant Dashboard
• 7.1 View, edit, and delete products.
• 7.2 Edit product name, price, description, and image.
• 7.3 Move products between shelves.
• 7.4 Manage shelves (add, delete, reorder).
• 7.5 Set store status: Open, Closed, or Busy.



8. Orders and Customer Data
