Project Description:

We are looking to accelerate the development of [login to view URL], an innovative application that uses AI to streamline dental note-taking. We have a live web application currently in testing on Heroku and are planning the development of a native iPhone app.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced developer for a short-term contract to assist our lead engineer. Your primary role will be to rapidly implement UI updates and new features on our existing web application based on founder feedback from live testing. Your secondary role will be to lay the groundwork and potentially begin development of our native iPhone application.

This is a fast-paced project, and we need a professional who can integrate into our team quickly and start delivering value from day one.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with our founder and lead developer to implement UI/UX enhancements on our live web application.

Rapidly build, test, and deploy new features using HTML, JavaScript, and Tailwind CSS.

Contribute to the planning and architecture of a new native iOS application.

(Potentially) Begin development of the core features of the iOS app using Swift and SwiftUI.

Required Skills & Experience:

Expert Level (5+ years): HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).

Proven Experience: Demonstrable portfolio of web applications built with Tailwind CSS.

iOS Development: Strong proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI for native app development. Please provide examples of apps you have built.

API Integration: Deep understanding of working with REST APIs and handling JSON data.

Version Control: Mastery of Git for collaborative development.

Excellent Communication: Fluent in English with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts.

Bonus Skills (Highly Regarded):

Experience with the Heroku deployment platform.

Familiarity with database technologies and offline data storage on iOS (Core Data/SwiftData).

A basic understanding of AI concepts or experience working on AI-powered applications.

Project Duration: Short-term contract (estimated 2-4 weeks, with the possibility of extension based on performance and project needs).
