"My WordPress site works fine on desktop, but its mobile experience lags behind and a few plugins are starting to throw warnings. I need someone who can jump in, tighten the responsive CSS so every page looks clean on phones and tablets, and then make sure the active plugins are fully updated and playing nicely with the current WordPress core.

A quick audit of the theme, adjustment of break-points, font sizes, and touch-friendly elements will be required, followed by safe plugin upgrades (or replacements if any are no longer maintained). After you’re done the site should pass the usual responsive tests, load without errors in the console, and maintain all existing functionality.

Please be comfortable working directly in WordPress, PHP, CSS, and JavaScript, and provide a brief outline of how you back up and stage changes before touching the live site." (client-provided description)
