ECL (Enterprise Control Language)data engineer – Work Support

Compensation:
₹40,000 per month (paid in 2 installments)

Basic Functions

This position involves providing ECL work support with a focus on complex research, design, and software development assignments within a specific functional area or product line. The role provides an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge big data technologies that simplify and enhance data management.

Key responsibilities include:

Extracting, loading, cleansing, translating, manipulating, analyzing, linking, and indexing large datasets.

Collaborating with internal business stakeholders and technical teams.

Working alongside talented colleagues across diverse technologies and industry domains.

Supporting cloud migration initiatives, particularly on Azure Cloud Services.

Qualifications

8+ years of Software Engineering experience.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Computer Science (or equivalent).

Strong background in Java development (essential).

Hands-on experience in Azure Cloud Services (especially cloud migration).

Technical Skills

Proficiency with data manipulation tools: SSIS, Informatica.

Strong command of development languages: Python, Java, C/C++, HTML, XML, SQL, JSON.

Familiarity with Windows/UNIX environments.

Experience with Git (GitHub/GitLab).

Knowledge of test-driven development and industry best practices.

Hands-on experience with Azure/AWS cloud platforms.

Ability to adapt to Agile/Waterfall development methodologies.

Eagerness to learn new processes and technologies.

Excellent communication skills (oral and written).

Accountabilities

Write/review specifications for moderate-to-complex system components.

Develop, enhance, and troubleshoot code in line with business requirements.

Collaborate with developers, QA, and business stakeholders to design and deliver solutions.

Operate effectively across Agile/Waterfall environments.

Keep up to date with emerging technology trends.
