"I have an existing mobile app built with the Expo managed workflow that now needs a round of polish and added functionality. The core screens and navigation are in place, but three areas require attention: UI/UX refinement, bug-fixing and optimisation, and new feature work.

First, I want the UI to feel modern and consistent across iOS and Android. That means tightening up layouts, typography, colours and small animations. I’ll share the current tsx files.

Second, need to add SQL lite for persistent data of user authenticated detail and selection of some pickers in pages.

Finally, two new features must go live:
• User authentication with email & password—sign-up, sign-in, password reset and secure token refresh. All which can be done through api calls from the backend I manage.

• Push notifications—device registration, obtaining the Expo push token and handling foreground, background and killed-state notifications. A lightweight test endpoint is enough at this stage to prove end-to-end delivery.

The codebase is TypeScript, uses functional components and React Navigation 6; please stick to that stack, document clearly and open a pull request for each logical chunk so reviews are straightforward.

Deliverables
- Updated source code in the GitHub repo
- Expo builds for iOS & Android ready for TestFlight / internal testing
- A brief hand-over note describing any new environment variables and setup steps

Acceptance criteria
The project must compile without warnings, authentication data must persist across app restarts, and a push notification sent from the Expo dashboard should reach both platforms in all app states.
