"I need a lightweight yet reliable Management Information System focused squarely on Customer Information Management for my FMCG operation. At this stage the only dataset I must capture and recall is each customer’s complete purchase history: what they bought, when, quantity, and any relevant notes we decide to tag later.

While the broader business touches vehicle availability and driver scheduling, those modules can wait; the present job is purely to give me a clean, searchable record of every transaction so I can answer vendor queries instantly and spot buying patterns without digging through spreadsheets.

I’m open on the tech stack as long as it is easy for a non-technical team to use and export data from—web-based, desktop, or even a mobile-friendly hybrid. If you already have a framework that speeds things up, all the better.

Deliverables
• A simple database schema (or tables in an off-the-shelf package) that stores customer profile fields plus their purchase history.
• Front-end screens to add, edit, and search purchase records by date range, product, or customer name.
• Basic filtering and CSV/Excel export so I can share reports with the finance and logistics teams.
• Clear deployment or installation steps that let my in-house IT place the system on our local server or cloud instance.

Acceptance criteria: I will sign off once I can log in, create a customer, record a purchase, retrieve that record through search, and export a filtered list to Excel without errors.
