Project description:
"I need a small client–server solution that makes it easy for me to inventory each Windows workstation on our network.

What the Windows desktop client must do
• Collect three data groups every time it launches or on a configurable schedule:
– Hardware specifications (CPU, RAM, disks, serial number, etc.)
– Installed software information (product name, version, publisher)
– Network details (IP, MAC, adapter speed)
• Display a very lightweight GUI so an end-user can see status, last sync time, and a manual “Send Now” button—nothing fancier than that.
• Transmit the gathered data securely to the server component, ideally over HTTPS or another encrypted channel.

What the server needs
• Receive the posted JSON (or another compact format), acknowledge receipt, and store everything in a database that can be queried later.
• Provide at least one endpoint or small dashboard so I can browse, search, and export the collected inventory.
• Be simple to deploy on common hosting (I’m flexible on tech stack: Node.js, .NET, Python, or Go are all acceptable as long as they stay lightweight).

Deliverables
1. Windows client installer plus full source code.
2. Server code with setup script and database schema.
3. README covering build steps, configuration options, and sample API calls.
4. Short video or screenshots that prove the round-trip flow works.

Acceptance will be based on a clean compile, successful data transfer of all three property groups, and the ability for me to retrieve that data from the server interface." (client-provided description)
