Project description:
"We’re a student team preparing for a national-level innovation challenge and looking for support from someone who has experience winning or excelling in hackathons.
We need help with both:
1. Development — building a working MVP (not just a prototype) that integrates data processing, digitization, and a simple web-GIS/dashboard.
2. Mentorship — guiding us strategically on how to structure the project for maximum impact in a competitive setting (e.g., feature prioritization, data sourcing, presentation polishing).
What you’ll do:
* Help us design & implement a lean MVP (front-end + back-end)
* Share best practices from your hackathon experience (how to impress judges, what to showcase, etc.).
* Provide technical + strategic mentorship over 1–2 weeks as we iterate.
Ideal Profile:
* Past experience winning or reaching finals in major hackathons.
* Strong skills in one or more of: Python, GIS/web mapping, OCR/NLP for digitization, data visualization, dashboard development.
* Comfortable guiding a student team and helping us avoid common pitfalls.
Deliverables:
* A functional MVP demonstrating digitization and decision-support workflows.
* Guidance on how to position the project for maximum clarity and impact.

Skills Required:
* Hackathon project experience (mandatory)
* Full-stack or backend development (Python/Node preferred)
* GIS / mapping libraries (Leaflet, Mapbox, QGIS, GeoPandas)
* OCR/NLP basics (Tesseract, spaCy, Hugging Face, etc.)
