Project description:
"I’m putting together an app that lets users locate cars quickly and confidently. The scope is strictly cars for now, but I’d like the architecture to be flexible enough that motorcycles or trucks could be added later without a rebuild.
Core user journey
• Search by model – a single text input should pull matching makes, trims and variants in real time.
• Refine results with price-range, year-of-manufacture and mileage filters that can be stacked or cleared individually.
• Return a neat list (or grid) of available vehicles with photos, key specs and a direct link to the dealer or seller feed the moment the filter updates.
Technical notes
• I’m open on stack, though React Native or Flutter paired with a lightweight REST or GraphQL back-end (Node, Django, Firebase, etc.) makes sense to me.
• Data can come from existing dealership APIs, scrapers you build, or a custom CMS—whatever delivers accurate, fresh listings.
• Clean, responsive UI/UX for iOS and Android is a must; a web wrapper would be a bonus.
Deliverables
1. Wireframes and a short style guide so we lock down flow and branding early.
2. Fully coded mobile app (source + build instructions) with the search, model filter and the three extra filters working end-to-end on test data.
3. Admin or import solution that lets me refresh or expand inventory without touching code.
4. Brief documentation and a walk-through video so I can maintain the project or hand it to another dev if needed.
If you have previous experience integrating dealership feeds or building search-heavy apps, that will speed things up—but clear, maintainable code and solid communication matter most." (client-provided description)
