"I’m building a one-off handset and need a complete operating system tailored for day-to-day use. The goal is a smooth, touch-centric experience that feels familiar to anyone coming from mainstream smartphones yet gives me far more control over look, feel, and privacy.

Here’s what matters most to me:
• A user-friendly interface designed exclusively for touch, with gestures and layouts that work on a 6-inch screen.
• Rock-solid security—full-disk encryption, verified boot, and permission hardening baked in from the start.
• Deep customization options such as theme packs, icon swaps, and adjustable quick settings without requiring root.

I’m open to whatever foundation you believe fits best—AOSP, Lineage, Sailfish, or a minimal Linux/Yocto build—so long as licences stay clean and future updates (OTA preferred) are straightforward.
