"I already have a working DayPilot-based scheduling module running across JavaScript, Angular, and React builds, backed by a PHP API and MySQL database. Now I need several enhancements applied consistently through the eight existing workflow steps—from the moment a user opens the event dialog right through to saving everything in MySQL.

Here’s what needs to happen:

• Extend the event editor to capture four new inputs: Date & Time (separate or combined as you see fit), Event Description, a Type dropdown, and a drag-and-drop image field.

• The Type dropdown must offer both predefined event types and allow users to create ad-hoc categories on the fly; whichever approach you take, the chosen or newly added value has to persist and appear the next time the form opens.

• Make the drag-and-drop image field accept a single file, preview it immediately inside the dialog, and store the file path (or base64 string if that’s simpler) alongside the event record.

• Update the DayPilot rendering so the extra data is visible at a glance—e.g., show the Type badge and thumbnail in the calendar cell without breaking responsiveness.

• Wire all new fields into the existing PHP endpoints and make sure the MySQL tables are altered or extended accordingly; old data must remain intact.

• Confirm that data created in one front-end stack (say Angular) displays flawlessly in the others (React and vanilla JS).

• Keep the code modular so future DayPilot updates can be dropped in with minimal merge pain.

I’ll provide the current repo with notes on the eight touchpoints you’ll be modifying. Once you’re done I’ll test by creating events in each framework, refreshing the database, and reloading the app to ensure everything sticks and displays correctly.
