"I need a WordPress site that presents my podcast in a modern, sleek style while remaining simple for me to run day-to-day. The heart of the build is an episodes library with on-site streaming, so visitors can play shows directly from an embedded audio player or download the file for offline listening. Each episode page must invite conversation through a dedicated comment section and give listeners the option to subscribe for updates, feeding their address straight into Mailchimp.

Beyond the core library, I would like the site to offer:
• Episode download option and embedded player on every show page
• Comment section for each episode
• Subscription to podcast updates (Mailchimp integration)
• RSS feed that stays valid for all major podcast directories
• Social sharing buttons that surface once an episode starts playing
• Analytics functions (Google Analytics or similar) so I can track listener behaviour
• A small shop page powered by WooCommerce for merch and digital extras
• An AI-assisted page that automatically trawls transcripts or show notes and updates content without manual input
• Fully mobile-friendly layout that mirrors the desktop design

A clean, modern aesthetic is essential; think bold typography, plenty of white space, and smooth, fast-loading pages. WordPress must remain the CMS, and I’m open to using tools such as Elementor, Gutenberg blocks, or a lightweight theme—whichever keeps the site performant and easy to extend.
