Part-Time Technical Project Manager – Mobile App Development (1-Month Contract)

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with a strong background in Android and iOS app development to manage a team of interns across multiple roles for a 1-month intensive project. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in mobile-first application development and be comfortable working with our chosen tech stack.

Tech Stack Involved

- Mobile App: Expo (React Native), Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui, React Navigation
- Backend: NestJS, PostgreSQL (PlanetScale/Neon), Railway
- Authentication: Clerk / Auth0
- Payments: Razorpay (subscriptions & webhooks)
- AI: OpenAI GPT-4o, LangChain
- Design: Figma

Responsibilities

- Manage and coordinate 5 different intern roles:
1. Mobile App Developer Intern – Expo + React Native
2. Backend Developer Intern – Core Logic & API (NestJS + DB)
3. Backend Developer Intern – Auth & Payments (Clerk/Auth0 + Razorpay)
4. AI Engineer Intern – GPT + LangChain
5. UI/UX Designer Intern – Figma

- Oversee day-to-day development progress, ensuring tasks are on schedule
- Create and maintain a detailed project timeline and deliverables roadmap
- Conduct daily stand-ups and weekly review meetings
- Collaborate with team members to resolve blockers quickly
- Review code/design submissions for quality and alignment with project requirements
- Report weekly progress and ensure final delivery within deadlines

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager in mobile app development (Android & iOS)
- Strong hands-on knowledge of React Native (Expo) and modern backend systems (NestJS, PostgreSQL)
- Familiarity with integrating authentication systems and payment gateways
- Prior experience managing junior developers, interns, or distributed teams
- Excellent English communication and leadership skills (Tamil optional)
- Ability to work within a tight 1-month development cycle
