"I need a small C# /.NET utility that picks up incoming records from a proprietary API (it is not REST, SOAP, or GraphQL) and drives my Windows desktop application to perform the required data-entry steps automatically.
The tool should:

• Poll or listen to the API, deserialize each payload, and map every field to the corresponding controls in the target app.
• Inject the data reliably—SendKeys, UI Automation, or direct Win32 messaging are all acceptable as long as the result mirrors a real user’s input and keeps the interface responsive.
• Log every transaction with timestamps and returned IDs so I can audit what was inserted and quickly trace failures.
• Offer simple configuration for endpoint URL, polling interval, and field mappings so I can change them without recompiling.

Deliverables: complete Visual Studio solution, compiled executable, and a short README explaining setup and how to extend the mapping list. Clean, well-commented code and clear exception handling will be the main acceptance criteria." (client-provided description)
