"I'm looking for an experienced WordPress developer to create a directory and membership site. The project requires both custom design and the use of pre-made themes.

About the Project
We are building Hey New York – a free online hub for people moving to or living in New York. It connects users with trusted local businesses, relocation resources, and community tools. Users browse and review businesses for free. Vendors pay $20/month to be listed, get a profile page, and reach both newcomers and residents.
We already have a WordPress theme that’s a strong starting point. The job is to customize and extend the theme to add vendor accounts, review pages, maps integration, and a subscription/payment system.
Core Features to Build
Homepage – Clear intro, featured categories, call-to-action for vendors and users.

Vendor Directory & Search – Searchable by category, location, keyword.
