"I’m kicking off the first release of a mobile app that lets users keep property-related documents in one place, tag key dates, and receive timely reminders before anything expires. The MVP must run smoothly on both Android and iOS and lay a clean foundation for a future web portal. Secondarily to this, I want a functionality that users could look up other homes if a user opts-in to see the condition of a home prior to purchase.

Core scope
• Hybrid storage: every file is saved locally for offline access and mirrored in the cloud so nothing is lost if a phone is.
• Security first: files are encrypted at rest and in transit, and all log-ins require two-factor authentication. If you can design the flow so biometric login can be added later without major refactor, that’s a plus.
• Reminders: users choose push notifications, email alerts or SMS—each channel needs its own opt-in and scheduling logic.

User journey in the MVP
1. Sign up / log in with 2FA.
2. Create a property or asset profile.
3. Scan or upload documents (PDF, image, or doc).
4. Assign a category and an expiry or review date.
5. Receive alerts via any of the three channels in advance of that date.
6. View, download or delete the document at any time, even offline.

Deliverables
– Full React Native or Flutter source code (clearly commented)
– Compiled builds ready for TestFlight and Google Play Internal Testing
– Simple backend (Firebase, Supabase, or Node + PostgreSQL) handling storage, encryption keys, and notification queues
– Postman/Swagger docs for all endpoints
– Setup guide, including how to swap cloud providers if needed

• All chosen security measures function without work-arounds.
• Upload, sync, and offline retrieval each complete in under five seconds on a 4G connection.
• Push, email, and SMS reminders trigger at the correct times, verified by test cases.
