"Project: Android Remote Manager – System Service for Chromecast Devices

Goal: Develop a production-ready Android system service application for Google Chromecast Gen4 (Chromecast with Google TV) and Gen5 (Google TV Streamer) running Android 12, 14, or later.

Primary Functions: Remotely simulate Chromecast remote control key presses using the Accessibility Service API or equivalent; listen for commands over TCP port 61023 with secure authentication; block user access to Android TV settings apps ([login to view URL] and [login to view URL]) with a highly reliable method.

Nice-to-Have Features: Remote device reboot command; remote live screen streaming (VNC-style viewing).

Technical Requirements: Runs as a persistent, background system service with high stability and no memory leaks; secure handling of sensitive data by removing hardcoded keys and securing TCP interface; must work after reboot and survive Android OS updates; requires INTERNET, BIND_ACCESSIBILITY_SERVICE, PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS permissions; fully buildable on a headless Ubuntu 24.04 server with complete build and deployment documentation; deployment via adb (side-load) with production-grade reliability.

Existing Work: Prototype code with partial implementation will be provided but is not production-ready and needs to be rebuilt with robust architecture, stability, and security.
