"My WordPress site is stuck in the slow lane. The plugin stack has spiralled out of control, pages aren’t tagged correctly, and every Lighthouse or Google PageSpeed Insights test flashes red. Loading speed is the priority: slow page load times, oversized images, and poor server response are hurting both desktop and mobile experiences. Core Web Vitals (FCP, LCP, CLS, TTI) all fail, uptime errors pop up, and technical visibility for SEO is slipping.

Here’s what I’m after.

• Strip out or replace unnecessary plugins with lean, custom-coded solutions.
• Optimise and properly serve all media so large image files no longer drag the site down.
• Tackle server-side performance—caching, CDN, hosting tweaks—until response times are no longer an issue.
• Retag pages and tidy on-page structure so search engines and tracking tools see a healthy build.
• Deliver a final build that scores 90+ on Lighthouse for both mobile and desktop, passes every Core Web Vital, and stays stable under monitoring.

Along with the live, optimised site, I’ll need a short before-and-after report showing PageSpeed and WebPageTest results to prove the gains.
