"Overview

I have a Google Sheet that I need to fully convert into a working Excel file. A simple export to .xlsx does not work because many Google-specific functions (like IMPORTRANGE, SPARKLINE, etc.) and custom Apps Script functions are lost.

The goal is to recreate all functionality in Excel, including formulas, logic, and scripts, so the Excel file behaves the same way as the original Google Sheet.

Scope of Work

> Analyze Current File
Review the uploaded .xlsx export (generated from my Google Sheet).
Identify missing/unsupported formulas (IFERROR(@[login to view URL]) placeholders).

> Review my Google Apps Script code (see example below).
Convert Google-Specific Functions

> Replace Google-only functions such as:
IMPORTRANGE → equivalent method in Excel (Power Query, external data connections, etc.).
SPARKLINE → Excel sparklines.
Other Google-only functions (UNIQUE, FILTER, etc.) → Excel equivalents.

> Rebuild Google Apps Script Functions
I have custom functions in Apps Script (e.g., getWarningNote(...)).
These must be re-created in VBA or Office Scripts so they run directly in Excel.

> Testing & Validation
Ensure outputs in Excel match the Google Sheet.
All warning/error checks (from Apps Script) should display correctly in Excel.

> Deliverables
A fully working Excel file with:
Equivalent formulas (Power Query, dynamic arrays, or VBA as needed).
Recreated custom logic from Google Apps Script in VBA/Office Scripts.

> Documentation explaining:
Which formulas were replaced and how.
How to refresh external data sources (if any).

Strong knowledge of both Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel.
