Project description:
"I want to tighten up the way my station handles stock and pre-delivery inspections by introducing a small back-office module that centres on supplier management. The focus is simple: every time a vendor delivers fuel or merchandise, I need one place where the quantities, costs and paper trail are captured, tied to the correct supplier record, and instantly reflected in on-hand inventory.
What matters most to me is order history tracking. I should be able to pull a vendor’s complete purchase timeline in seconds, spot pricing trends, and verify that the items invoiced match what actually arrived. If you can add contact-info fields or performance scores, great, but the historical log is the must-have.
You’re free to build a lightweight web app, a plug-in for an SQL back end, or an integration that sits on top of PDI Enterprise—whatever delivers:
• Supplier profiles linked to every purchase order
• Automatic stock updates and variance alerts on receipt
• A searchable, exportable order history with basic cost analytics
Hand-over will include the working module, source code, and a quick user guide. I’ll sign off once I’ve run a live trial for a week without data hiccups." (client-provided description)
