Project description:
"I need an end-to-end web platform where quota holders and fishermen can meet, view one another’s offers, and complete transactions securely. The core of the job is to aggregate three distinct data feeds—government databases, private company APIs, and user-submitted information—so that every listing is automatically enriched with the most current, authoritative data.
Once users register with a verified email and phone number, they may browse freely. The moment two parties finalise their first deal, the system must automatically apply a service fee and bill an annual membership in the same checkout flow. Subsequent trades simply trigger the service fee. I will provide the exact fee percentages; you only need to build the billing logic.
Platform features required
• Data analytics & reporting dashboards that let users compare quotas, prices, and historic catch records.
• Real-time data updates so listings refresh the instant a source changes.
• A secure, private messaging channel between the two counterparties engaged in a negotiation.
Security and privacy are non-negotiable. Conversation threads, personal details, and trade terms must remain visible only to the two matched users; administrators see metadata only. Please architect the system with best-practice encryption, role-based access, and rigorous audit logging.
Acceptance criteria
1. Seamless integration of the three data source types with automatic validation.
2. Transaction flow that combines service charge and annual membership on first checkout and handles recurring charges thereafter.
3. Responsive web interface showing live data, analytics widgets, and an in-app messenger.
4. Deployment ready for cloud hosting (Docker-ised or similar) with clear documentation and hand-off.
If you have solid experience with API aggregation, secure payment workflows, and real-time dashboards, this should be a straightforward build. I’m happy to discuss preferred tech stacks—Node, Python, Go, Postgres, AWS, or equivalents—as long as you can meet the requirements and leave me with clean, maintainable code."
