"The portal is already running on Liferay 7.x, yet its look, feel, and feature set need an upgrade. I’m revisiting the whole front end, adding new functionality, and finishing a partial migration from our old platform—so I need hands-on help from someone who knows the stack inside out.

Here’s what the engagement covers:

• Build a responsive, brand-aligned custom theme that installs cleanly, follows Clay styling conventions, and works on all modern browsers and devices.
• Develop new OSGi modules/portlets for the features detailed in our spec (Service Builder, Gradle, and REST exposure where required).
• Migrate the remaining content and documents into the current Liferay instance, preserving permissions, friendly URLs, and SEO metadata.

I’ll provide design assets, access to a staging server, and a short punch list of legacy items still outside the platform. The work is considered complete when the theme deploys with zero console errors, each module registers in Control Panel and passes basic smoke tests, and migrated content renders identically on staging.
