Project description:
"I need an Android tablet application that runs in true full-screen kiosk mode and guides a customer from ticket selection to payment and ticket issuance without staff intervention. The current requirement is simple: the user chooses how many Regular tickets they want, the app shows the running total, and then offers two ways to pay—either by scanning a QR code for mobile wallets or by tapping a card on an attached SumUp terminal. Once payment is confirmed, the system must instantly create both a printable ticket (triggering the local thermal printer) and a digital copy that can be emailed or stored for the customer.

Every ticket must carry a sequential queue number, the exact date-time stamp of purchase, and a QR or barcode that our front-of-house scanners can read later for validation. Although only Regular tickets are in scope right now, the data model and UI should make it easy for me to add VIP or Student options in the future without rewriting core logic.

Because this tablet will sit in a public area, the software has to lock down the Android interface completely: no status bar, no Home or Back navigation, automatic relaunch on reboot, and an admin PIN to exit. Multi-language support (at least English and one additional language via simple JSON resource files) is essential so I can translate the flow myself.

Deliverables:
