"I want to rebuild my existing static website so it feels modern, responsive, and medically trustworthy. The core purpose is keto, medical education for people living with Type 2 Diabetes, so every design and code choice needs to keep clarity and accessibility front-and-centre.

Scope of content
• Keto diet information
• Up-to-date medical research on Type 2 Diabetes
• Personal stories and testimonials that humanise the science
• An expanded food directory explaining fruits, vegetables, grains, and other items
Each page should support images, short videos, and clear callouts for key takeaways.

Technical needs
• Fresh theme built with clean HTML5/CSS3 and lightweight JavaScript (a static-site generator such as Gatsby, [login to view URL], Hugo, or similar is welcome).
• Headless backend so I can add or edit posts without touching code—Netlify CMS, Strapi, or another open-source option is fine as long as it deploys to static files.
• Fully responsive UI, basic on-page SEO, fast load times, and simple analytics hooks.
• A contact/newsletter form that sends to my chosen email service.

Deliverables
1. Complete static codebase plus CMS configuration ready to deploy.
2. Custom theme matching the diabetes/keto medical tone (colour palette, typography, icon set).
3. Initial population of the four content sections, including sample media placeholders.
4. Clear README outlining build, deploy, and content-editing steps.

Acceptance criteria
• Lighthouse performance ≥90 on mobile and desktop.
• All images lazy-loaded and properly compressed.
• CMS allows me to publish, edit, or delete content in every section without dev involvement.
• Deployed demo link showing the site working end-to-end.
