"I use Zakeke’s 3D Configurator and now need it to look cleaner, faster to navigate, and fully in line with the experience I want customers to have. Zakeke’s team says the only way to achieve this is by creating a custom theme. They offer two routes: either build it with their React-based online library (zakeke-configurator-react) or send them finished desktop-and-mobile mock-ups so they can code the theme on their side.

Before I commit, I’d like your expert opinion on which path is smarter for my situation and, once decided, full execution of the work.

What I want to improve
• Overall user flow and responsiveness to lift the user-experience score.
• A refined colour scheme that feels more premium.
• Better-balanced layout and spacing so every tool is obvious but nothing feels cluttered.
• Modern, intuitive buttons and icons that read well on both desktop and mobile.

How we’ll work
1. Discovery call (or equivalent) where you review the existing live configurator and guide me on the pros and cons of coding the theme ourselves versus preparing mock-ups for Zakeke to implement.
2. Recommendation summary with a clear action plan, timeline, and tool stack.
3. Design phase: high-fidelity mock-ups for desktop and mobile reflecting the colour, layout, and icon updates.
4. Build phase (if we code in-house): custom theme developed in zakeke-configurator-react, fully responsive, and pushed to a staging environment.
5. Handover & test: cross-browser checks, performance tweaks, and documentation so I can maintain it going forward.
