"Our WordPress site is struggling with sluggish user onboarding. The login form can sit spinning for five-plus seconds before authenticating, and the registration page behaves the same way. Credentials are valid and no explicit PHP errors surface—the process is simply slow.

I’m looking for a developer who can trace and eliminate the bottlenecks inside this CMS stack. Whether it’s an overloaded query in wp_users, an ill-behaved plugin, mis-configured caching layer, or something deeper in PHP/MySQL, I need the root cause identified and resolved.

Deliverable: both the login and registration flows should complete in under one second on a typical shared-hosting environment, measured with a tool like Query Monitor or your preferred profiler. Please document the fix (plugin settings changed, code snippets, or server tweaks) so I can reproduce it on staging and production.

You’ll have admin and FTP access plus staging copies to work on. Familiarity with WordPress hooks, transients, object caching and database indexing will be essential, and I’d prefer solutions that avoid adding yet another heavy plugin unless absolutely necessary.
