"I need a complete, locally-installed bank-reconciliation application built on the KNIME Analytics Platform. The KNIME workflow should run entirely behind the scenes; end-users must interact only with a friendly desktop interface that you package for both Windows and macOS.

Core logic
• Automate the full reconciliation process by ingesting CSV and Excel statements, applying configurable matching rules, flagging discrepancies, and producing a final reconciliation report—all orchestrated inside KNIME.
• The workflow must execute without the user ever opening KNIME itself; your installer or bundled executable should handle all calls to the KNIME runtime.

Interface requirements
The UI needs a clean dashboard with high-level balances, a detailed reports area for transaction-level views, and a real-time error-notification system. Users must be able to import statements, review or tweak matching rules, run a complete reconciliation in one click, and export results.

Deliverables
1. Cross-platform installers (Windows & macOS) containing KNIME runtime, workflow, and UI wrapper.
2. Source KNIME workflow and any supporting scripts.
3. Brief setup/usage guide.

Acceptance
I will consider the project complete once I can install the app on both operating systems, load sample CSV/Excel files, see the dashboard populate correctly, receive error alerts on mismatches, and export the reconciled ledger." (client-provided description)
