"Our Flutter-based mobile app is already live on Google Play, backed by a Django and web stack. Unfortunately the project stalled for a few weeks, some contributors have gone silent, and the codebase needs fresh eyes. I’m looking for someone who can step in as a hands-on technical lead: reorganise the existing team, audit every recent commit, and focus first on tightening performance so users feel an immediate speed boost.

What you’ll actually do
• Clone the current repo, run a full code review, and flag anything that could be slowing the app down (memory leaks, unnecessary rebuilds, heavy network calls, Django query bottlenecks, etc.).
• Draft a realistic action plan: tasks, priorities, and timelines to get the team moving again.
• Implement or delegate the first round of performance fixes yourself so momentum isn’t lost while you align the broader team.
• Keep the Play Store build stable—no downtime—while improvements roll out.

Acceptance criteria
1. A written audit that pinpoints performance culprits in both the Flutter front-end and Django back-end.
2. A clear sprint plan the existing devs can follow.
3. Observable performance gains in the production APK (startup time, frame rate, API latency).
