Project description:
"I’m launching an online store focused solely on selling physical products and I need the entire e-commerce ecosystem set up—front end, back end, payment flow and fulfilment. Besides a polished shopping experience, the site must connect seamlessly to our existing ERP through APIs so inventory moves stay in sync.
Key requirements I have in mind
• Modern, responsive storefront with intuitive product search, filtering and checkout.
• Secure admin where I can create products in batches, edit variants and push those batches live in one go.
• Real-time API integration with our ERP for inventory deductions, purchase-order creation and status updates.
• Clean codebase that’s easy for an in-house developer to extend later (modular React, Vue, Laravel, Django, Node—open to what you recommend).
• Performance best practices: fast page loads, compressed media, SEO-friendly URLs, schema markup.
• Standard e-commerce essentials: SSL, payment gateway integration, abandoned-cart email hooks, order tracking for customers.
Acceptance criteria
1. I can upload a CSV of new SKUs, trigger batch processing and see the items live with correct stock levels pulled from the ERP.
2. A test order flows end-to-end—payment captured, stock adjusted in the ERP through the API, shipping label generated.
3. Google PageSpeed scores above 85 on both mobile and desktop for the homepage and a product page.
4. All core screens render flawlessly on the latest Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge and mobile browsers.
5. Source code and brief deployment guide handed over in a private Git repository.
Please outline the tech stack you’d use, the number of milestones you foresee and the estimated timeline to launch." (client-provided description)
