I’m putting together a very small proof-of-concept that ties OpenAI’s voice capabilities to Telnyx through Pipecat. All I need is a clean, well-commented Python example I can spin up locally that demonstrates both directions of a call flow:

• An inbound Telnyx call that is handed off to Pipecat, transcribed by OpenAI, processed, and voiced back through Telnyx.
• An outbound Telnyx call triggered from the script, routed the same way.

The Pipecat repo already includes reference snippets, so feel free to reuse their patterns—just wire everything into a single, working sample. Keep credentials in environment variables or a .env file; basic token validation is fine, nothing beyond that.

Deliverables

3. one simple hello world function. for example if i say ai to send email ai should invoke that finction
