Project description:
"I am launching a new site on WordPress that will feature an interactive Wildlife Sighting Map where users can view and submit animal sightings (e.g., grizzly bears, wolves, moose, etc.).

I am looking for a freelancer with strong WordPress + WP Google Maps Pro experience to help set up the site.

Project Scope:
Install Wordpress theme on to my Kinsta server
Install and configure WP Google Maps Pro and the User Submission add-on.
Build a clean, mobile-friendly homepage featuring the main map and filters (species, date, region).
Create individual sub-pages for key animal categories (e.g., Grizzly Sighting Map, Wolf Sighting Map, Moose Sighting Map, Poisonous Snake Sighting Map).

Set up a user submission form so visitors can report sightings (species, location, date, optional photo). Submissions should go to a moderation queue for approval.

Configure maps to update automatically when approved sightings are published.

Ensure SEO-friendly structure (URLs, titles, and schema where possible).

Provide a short handoff guide so I can manage submissions, approvals, and basic maintenance without coding.

Requirements:
Proven WordPress experience with WP Google Maps Pro.
Portfolio/examples of interactive map projects. VERY IMPORTANT
Strong understanding of mobile-first design.
Ability to deliver a user-friendly, no-code-friendly setup.

Nice-to-Have:
Experience setting up user accounts or email capture (for alerts when sightings are reported nearby).
Experience optimizing UGC sites for performance and spam control.

Deliverable:
A functioning live WordPress site loaded on to my Kinsta server with:
Working map(s)
User submission system
Moderation workflow
Clear documentation for ongoing management" (client-provided description)
