Description:
We are a small software company. We recently received a complete source code handover of a GPS tracking and fleet management software from our development vendor. The deliverables include:

Web application source code (with README, API spec, deployment scripts)
Mobile applications source code (Android + iOS)
Database schema and config files
Deployment scripts and basic documentation

We would like an independent technical expert to:

Scope of Work:

Unzip & Inspect Code

Review the provided source code packages for backend, frontend, and mobile apps.
Confirm that all files are editable source code (not compiled binaries).

Web Application Deployment

Set up the web app on a clean test server (Linux/Hetzner environment).
Verify that the included deployment scripts and instructions are complete.
Test API endpoints against the provided OpenAPI spec.

Database Setup

Run the provided database schema scripts.
Verify connectivity between application and database.

Mobile Applications Build

Build Android app in Android Studio.
Build iOS app in Xcode.
Confirm all required dependencies are present.

Check that keystore (Android) and provisioning/certificate files (iOS) are provided.

Third-Party Services

Identify all external APIs, SDKs, and services (maps, SMS, push notifications, etc.).
Check if API keys/configs are included or placeholders.

Functional Verification

Run core features (login, tracking, reporting, etc.).
Document if any features break due to missing files or credentials.

Documentation Quality

Assess whether README and deployment instructions are sufficient.
Suggest improvements if needed.

Final Deliverable

A written report confirming whether the source code package is complete and self-sufficient for future use by another vendor.
A list of any missing files, documentation gaps, or risks.
