"Full-Stack Developer / Team Needed — Heavy Haul Logistics Platform (MVP)

Project Overview
We are building an asset-light heavy haul logistics platform for oversize/overweight (OS/OW) freight moves in Texas. The goal is to streamline shipper requests, carrier & escort coordination, permit compliance, live tracking, and invoicing into a modern web + mobile solution.

We already have a detailed architectural plan, OpenAPI spec, database schema, and workflows prepared. Now we need an experienced developer (or small team) to bring it to life.

Responsibilities
• Implement backend API (Node.js/NestJS or Python/FastAPI) with PostgreSQL.
• Develop React-based web portals:
• Shipper portal (create loads, request quotes, track, pay invoices).
• Carrier portal (accept loads, assign drivers, view route packs).
• Admin console (manage loads, permits, users, rules, reporting).
• Build Driver PWA (mobile web app): milestones, geofenced events, photo uploads, ePOD.
• Integrate payments (Stripe for invoicing + carrier/escort payouts).
• Build PDF generators for compliance packs, route packs, invoices, and PODs.
• Set up notifications (SendGrid/Twilio).
• Deploy to AWS (ECS/RDS/S3) with CI/CD, Terraform for IaC.
• Ensure security, RBAC, and audit logging across all modules.


Deliverables (MVP)
• Fully functional web + mobile platform with the above workflows.
• Backend documented with OpenAPI, unit & integration tests.
• PostgreSQL schema + migrations aligned with provided spec.
• Staging + production environments deployed to AWS.
• Admin console dashboards (basic KPIs: on-time %, loads by state, revenue per load).


Skills Required
• Full-stack development (React, Node.js/NestJS or Python/FastAPI).
• PostgreSQL & schema design.
• AWS cloud deployment (ECS, RDS, S3, IAM).
• Payment integration (Stripe).
• Document workflows (HTML→PDF generation).
• Experience with logistics, trucking, or marketplace apps is a strong plus.
• Strong communication & ability to work with detailed technical specs.
