"My site is built entirely with custom HTML, CSS and vanilla JavaScript. ( ReacT) While it works, users on tablets and smaller phones are running into layout issues, and overall performance could be snappier. I need the front-end code cleaned up, the pages loading faster, and a seamless PayPal checkout added.

Here’s what the job breaks down to:

• Diagnose and eliminate the responsive design problems so every section scales smoothly from 320 px mobile screens up to large desktops.
• Streamline assets and scripts—minify, defer or lazy-load where sensible—to push Google Lighthouse scores into the high 90s and keep Time to Interactive under two seconds on a 10 Mbps mobile test.
• Integrate a PayPal payment flow: a single “Pay Now” button that launches the PayPal pop-up, completes the transaction in the sandbox first, then returns order data to a confirmation page I already have. The code should be modular enough that I can bolt on another gateway later if needed.

Acceptance criteria
1. No horizontal scrolling or element overlap across Chrome, Safari and Firefox at all common breakpoints.
2. Lighthouse mobile performance score ≥ 90, with no JS or CSS console errors.
3. Successful PayPal sandbox transaction populates the confirmation page with the returned order details.
4. Clear, commented commits so I can follow each change.
