"Summary
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Tech Lead / Full-Stack Developer to join the ongoing development of our innovative Virtual Power Plant (VPP). This role offers the opportunity to own the complete development lifecycle—from ideation through implementation and ongoing operations—and requires enthusiasm for exploring and mastering the intricacies of the energy sector.

Our projects span a diverse array of applications, including:
- Building software interfaces with Remote Terminal Units (RTUs) that manage power distribution at customer facilities.
- Developing intuitive administrative and customer dashboards.
- Creating precise revenue calculation systems and comprehensive reporting tools.
- Implementing advanced control algorithms for our proprietary hardware, such as deployed boilers, heaters, and battery storage systems.

As a key member of our small and dynamic team based in Denmark, you will collaborate directly with our CTO, significantly influencing technical direction and product strategy.

Key responsibilities:
- Take ownership of the software development process from concept to deployment.
- Engage deeply with the energy sector, ensuring solutions precisely address customer needs and regulatory requirements. This is key as currently do not have a full product organisation, so you spending time understanding the needs of the market and user is key.
- Develop robust, scalable, and maintainable applications, with our web-based application primarily using JavaScript, NodeJS, Express and Angular.
- Actively contribute ideas to enhance the functionality and performance of our energy management systems.

Requirements:
- Proven expertise as a full-stack developer with strong proficiency in JavaScript, Typescript, NodeJS, and Express.
- Demonstrable track record delivering high-quality, production-ready software.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities, especially within small teams. Native or fluency in English is a must.
- Interest in the energy sector and willingness to dive deep into its technical details.

Nice-to-have:
- Experience with internet-of-things (IOT) technology such as VPNs, MQTT, gRPC, mobile services, and the real-world issues that come from that, such as connectivity problems.
- Experience with PLC programming (Schneider PLC, but other are also ok).
- Dev-Ops experience (AWS)

Start: In 1 - 2 weeks
Location: Europe (or close in terms of time-difference)
