Project description:
"I have a live WordPress site running the BuddyBoss platform together with Paid Membership Pro and a handful of small, purpose-built plugins. A few things in that stack need a developer’s touch:
• Member profile layouts and edit screens no longer match the current design, so I need the related BuddyBoss templates and hooks adjusted.
• The registration flow must be streamlined—after sign-up users should land on a custom dashboard rather than the default activity feed, with role-based redirects handled by code rather than a plugin wizard.
• A couple of micro-plugins that sit beside PMPro handle extra validation and conditional content. They work, but the code is messy and makes updates risky. I’d like these cleaned up, namespaced and pushed to a separate folder so we can track them properly in Git.
You’ll be working directly in a staging environment where BuddyBoss, Paid Membership Pro, and the custom code are already installed. Once your changes are complete and tested, I’ll merge them to production.
Deliverables
– Updated BuddyBoss template overrides and [login to view URL] snippets for the Member profile edits
– PHP adjustments that control registration/role assignment and front-end redirects
– Refactored versions of the two tiny helper plugins, each with clear comments, proper version headers and no linting errors
– A short changelog so future updates stay painless
If you’re comfortable navigating BuddyBoss hooks, PMPro filters, and general WordPress best practices, this should be a concise project. Let me know your turnaround time and any similar work you can point me to, and we’ll get started right away." (client-provided description)
