"Objective: Develop an Android application that integrates GSM calls with WebRTC, allowing seamless communication between cellular network calls and WebRTC calls within the same application.

Key Requirements:

1. Modify RIL:



Implement a custom Radio Interface Layer (RIL) to manage GSM calls directly within the application.

Utilize oFono as a backend for RIL, written in Java.

2. Utilize JNI:



Use Java Native Interface (JNI) to integrate native code (C/C++) for low-level system access.

Ensure compatibility with Android's telephony services.

3. Integrate with Asterisk/FreePBX:



Configure Asterisk or FreePBX to handle SIP signaling and media for WebRTC calls.

Implement features like call merging, transfer, and termination between GSM and WebRTC calls.

Challenges:

Modifying RIL requires deep understanding of Android's telephony framework and may necessitate device-specific adjustments.
